At Stone & Brick, we are committed to delivering high-quality construction services with a personalized and hands-on approach. Unlike many companies in the industry, including competitors such as Brick & Bolt, we do not outsource any portion of our work to sub-contractors. Our focus is on maintaining control over the entire construction process to ensure consistency, transparency, and superior craftsmanship. Below are our key terms and conditions:
1. No Sub-Contracting Policy
Stone & Brick takes pride in managing all aspects of the project in-house. From design to execution, our team of highly skilled professionals will handle every stage. We do not engage sub-contractors, ensuring that our quality standards are met without compromise. This policy allows for:
- Direct communication with clients.
- Complete oversight of all project phases.
- Uniform quality across every task.
2. Scope of Work
The scope of each project will be detailed in the contract provided before project commencement. All agreed-upon services, including material sourcing, labor, and timelines, will be clearly outlined to avoid any confusion. Any additional requests or modifications must be discussed and documented before implementation.
3. Project Timeline and Delivery
Stone & Brick will provide a clear timeline for project completion, including key milestones. While we strive to meet all deadlines, external factors such as weather conditions, material availability, or unforeseen circumstances may affect timelines. Subject to Force Majeure, in the event of natural disasters, acts of government, strikes, pandemics, or any circumstances beyond our reasonable control, the project timelines may be extended. In such cases, clients will be informed promptly, and reasonable efforts will be made to mitigate delays. Adjustments to timelines will be made in good faith and in consultation with the client.
4. Quality Control
As we do not rely on sub-contractors, Stone & Brick maintains rigorous quality control throughout every project. Our supervisors and workers adhere to strict protocols to ensure that each phase meets industry standards. Regular inspections will be conducted, and clients will be updated on the project’s progress.
5. Payment Terms
- A deposit is required upon signing the contract to initiate work.
- Payments will be scheduled according to project milestones, with the final payment due upon completion and client approval.
- Any additional costs incurred due to client-requested changes will be discussed and agreed upon before proceeding.
6. Transparency and Communication
Our direct approach means clients have a single point of contact for all inquiries and concerns. Regular updates will be provided, and clients are encouraged to reach out at any time during the construction process.
7. Warranty and Maintenance
Upon project completion, Stone & Brick provides a warranty for the work done, ensuring peace of mind for the client. Maintenance services may also be offered depending on the nature of the project, which will be outlined in the contract.
8. Dispute Resolution
In the unlikely event of a dispute, both parties agree to resolve the matter through amicable discussions. Should further resolution be required, third-party mediation may be sought before considering legal action.
9. Termination
Either party may terminate the contract under certain conditions, including but not limited to breaches of the agreement, prolonged delays, or failure to meet obligations. Termination terms will be detailed in the contract.
10. Confidentiality
Stone & Brick agrees to keep all client information confidential and will not disclose any project details without prior consent.
By working with Stone & Brick, clients can be assured of a seamless construction experience driven by our no sub-contracting policy, ensuring both quality and trust are upheld throughout the project.
These terms reflect our professional commitment to every project and outline how unforeseen events will be handled to minimize disruptions, ensuring continued transparency and quality throughout the project.
